Emma Doré

Emma Doré, LEAP Senior faculty member, and CEO of Supporting Families in Mental Illness Auckland, has over 25 years’ experience in the field of mental health. Emma trained and practiced initially as a social worker/manager in the UK in forensic mental health services, and for the past 15 years has managed services in NZ in both the government and non-government sectors.

For several years she has been teaching LEAP throughout New Zealand, and she is LEAP’s representative in New Zealand and in the Asia/Pacific Region.

Ms. Dore works closely with consumers, family caregivers and policy makers/government officials to advocate for family and consumer inclusive practice.
